We'll be in Hobart in just four sleeps. Hooray.

Little man about the house

Hello

My first barbeque. Do I choose mummy sauce or daddy sauce?

I am enjoying eating. Even when it makes me look like a cat.

The swing. The place I go for some peace and quiet.

Rolling around on the floor. Sometimes I end up under tables.

And a trip to the pool. It's just like a giant bath.

Till next time...

Rocking and rolling

Hello there

Mum and dad say I am growing up fast. What do you reckon?

I have feet. They are at the end of my legs. They are great fun.

Mum had the camera ready, so I gave her Blue Steel...

How lovely is just lying on the grass and exploring?

I don't have a bag on my head. Really. It's a bib. It often ends up there.

I have decided I am ready for food. OK, it's rice cereal, but I like it.

Some of it even gets in my mouth sometimes...

Sitting. It's the new craze. I hear it's really catching on amongst five-month olds.

Harper likes to give me tips. This tip was about which fingers and thumbs are best to have a little suck on.

And every now and then I like a bit of a cuddle with him.

Till next time

I don't understand the point of finger...nails

Hi there

I have sharp fingernails. I can draw blood.

I am getting the hang of having my photo taken.

Just as well, my mum likes to take a pic or two.

We went to Mudgee, Harper went on a miniture train and I wondered who dressed me.

Mudgee was a lot of fun, but tiring. At least it was cold enough for me to wear the famous Peruvian zombie jumper.

I always travel with security.

I was missing Mudgee before we even left. I think I will go back some day so I can ride on the miniture railway.

Some of my favourite things

Hello

I would like to share with you some of my favourite things to do:

Hang out with mum. We are watching the Cats beat the Saints.

Spend quality time on the floor with my brother.

Visit the beach. I hung out with Nickers on my first ever beach trip.

Catch up with Audrey.

And at the end of a long day, I really like just relaxing in a nice, warm bath. With a duck.

And now the sun is out, hopefully I can spend more time in the swing in the backyard as well as in the stroller going for walks.

Till next time

It's cool to be green ...

Hello

People talk about how we need to be green to save the planet and that it takes a lot of work.

I find being green very easy.

Being green with dad. He's not green.

This may be a gang sign. I could be chillin' wit' me enviro bros in da crib, yo.

Hands. They are tasty. And there is no packaging.

See? Green is easy.

Till next time

Places to be

Hello

As I feel bad for not blogging for a while, here are some more pics.

If you look closely, you can see Mum reflected in my eyes.

I have just worked out these hands belong to me.

My first trip to Henson Park to see the Jets. Turns out they are a Rugby League team. All I saw all day was jets flying overhead. Dad said the Jets were hopeless and lost, so maybe it was better this way.

Apparently my brother was quite fond of staring into the mirror for hours. This is new for me.

How fast does an Oak tree produce leaves in Spring? Well, there were none when I got in the swing...

...then quite a lot when I was about to get out a little while later. It's a very impressive tree.

Harper has his Sidney, I have one as well. This is Sydney, her mum is Ceri. Her dad is Ezra, who is in a rock band called Jonesitis.

This lying on the floor business is popular. Harper is also very good at it.

Here is one place I have spent some quality time. Lucky for me, Gillian is more than happy to make it available when she is around.

Then there is Aaron. He is in a rock band as well, but he is all about the solo artist thing. That way there can always be a 13 minute guitar solo.

Till next time

Learning the ropes

Hello

I know I said I would do this regularly, but I just didn't know how hectic things would get. I've been busy spending time with Mum and Harper, as you can see below, learning a bit about how to be part of this family.

In the front garden at home.

I don't know why Harper didn't want his photo taken. Usually he is more than happy to pose.

Harper and I already have some shared interests, like napping in the stroller.

As well, we like the odd bit of couple dressing.

Stripes? Check. Green top? Check. Nice work team. I think I have this couple dressing thing down pat.

And I have been watching Harper, so I think I am getting the knack of this photo thing as well.

Till next time,
Monty

Some quiet time ....

Hello

Every now and then, Harper is busy elsewhere and I get to spend time with mum.

And of course, mum gets the camera out.

And we have fun.

Monty.

Nice to meet you all

Hello

About nine weeks ago, I was born. Yeah, I know, who saw that coming? I was pretty happy hangin' out in my womb.

Now, I am pretty happy hangin' out with my mum, dad and brother, Harper.

I noticed Harper has a blog, so I have started this. It's for when you need to just do nothing for a while...to get away from that work you should be doing, those dishes you should be washing, that poodle you should be walking.

So, here are some pics of me. By way of introduction.

I will try to post fairly regularly, although the competition for the computer is very fierce.

Maybe I should twitter instead...
