Sky Cruiser

Hi everyone

The other day we all went to the zoo. I had a great time, I especially liked the giraffes.

I also really liked the Sky Safari, which takes you over the zoo so you can look down on all the animals.

High above the animals, just wondering what they must think of the chair lift. Harper wondered if the baby elephants would fit inside. I think they could.

The zoo is a dangerous place. I skinned my knee and toe. Lucky mum carries band aids and kisses.

Nail polish is something Harper has got me into. Dad is not overly impressed.

My 2010 highlights are in the works, promise.

Silly season shenanigans

Hello

You know, summer is here finally and it's time to play. And have my photo taken by mum.

This is what happens when you let Harper paint. He calls it 'dressing up'. Not sure who I am supposed to be. Any ideas?

It's tiring being a super hero. Sometimes you just want to have a nap.

If Harper is not painting me, dad is mucking around with my hair. Why are people so unkind?

Mum bought a bubble machine from Aldi. It's hypnotic fun.

But not as fun as sitting in a laundry basket eating ice cream with my brother. Although he does it wrong - the smart people eat the bottom of the cone before they start eating the top of it.

Looking forward to a fun 2011.

Till next time

It's a zebra. Really.

Hi

Since the last update, a few things have happened. I turned one, started walking and talking, developed an obsession with buses and trains (and now, having been to Melbourne, trams) and met lots of lovely people.

I also have some fridge magnets.

Believe me, it is a zebra.

I promise to be a bit more organised this year with this blog thing. Harper and I have been a bit distracted with toys, Thomas and being tiny terrors. But now I am ready to go.

My brother Max

Hi all,

Harper and I have an older brother, Max. He doesn't live with us, but he is part of our family. He would have been four this week. I got to go to the zoo with Harper and mum and dad for the first time - below are the pics.

Harper wanted to see the crocodile. And he did, and it was huge.

The giraffes have the best view in Sydney.

Harper quite likes a milkshake.

The zoo has a baby elephant - he is very cute.

As is tradition, Harper rode the big stone elephant.

And mum and Harper posed in front of the bear mirror.

I got to hang out with a cool kid who looked a lot like me - we even butted heads.

Then I went for a bit of a crawl.

After the zoo, we bought some red balloons for Max.

And we went to the park. Turns out, I quite like balloons.

We went to a park in Ashfield to send the balloons to Max. It is another tradition I learnt this week.

Back at home, it was red cup cake time.

Harper gave the cakes a big thumbs up - but he would, he is mad for cakey.

Happy birthday Max.

Till next time

Hello everyone

The crawling is going well, the eating is coming along, this whole growing up thing is a bit of fun.

The guns are coming along Uncle Greg.

I am learning about my brother. If I push this button...

 ...he gets naughty.

Mmmm, there is nothing like a Cruskit with a fan cooling your bottom.

Exploring is great. I really the hallway.

Other days I just prefer a bit of a quiet lie about.

No one told me that being part of this family meant dressing like this.

The backyard is a colourful and wet adventure land.

Bubbles...just so round.

Don't look, but I think there is a streaker behind me.

I do like to keep up with the arts.

That's another fun month down. I will be one before we all know it.

Till next time

Christmas, Hobart style

Hi there

My first Christmas was a lot of fun. Lots of presents, lots of cuddles...

The kissy-kissy monster found me in Hobart.

Here's me with Debs.

And with mama.

And with dad, but clearly whatever he is doing is quite boring.

Even though we were in Hobart, we went to the beach and had a great time.

And I spent some quality time on Uncle Tom.

There was time for some time out on pa pa's lap. Too much staring at the bricks of Uncle Tom and Auntie Lucy's house will wear you out...

Christmas in Hobart with everyone. A nice way to start a lifetime of Christmasses.

Until next time
